Project Runway - Christian Siriano

Well, this is a bit late, but i recently decided, with the begining of season 7 coming up, to pay a little homage to my favourite PR designers. and who better to start with than Christian "Fierce" Siriano? The winner of season 4 is my all time favourite and I would totally wear anything he makes, as he's a genious. Take a look at some runway looks courtesy of Mr. Siriano.

Oscars 2010 - My Best Dressed List

But there was more to the red carpet than weird ruffles and shapes. The stars glammed up for this year's ceremony and most of the gowns parading down the red carpet created the "OMG, I want that dress!" effect (on me, anyway). Here's my Best Dressed List. Enjoy!

Oscars 2010 - My Worst Dressed List

Ok, so Bob Mackie didn't have spotlights on any of his designs this year, but I still think there were a few don'ts walking down this year's red carpet. Seriously, am I the only one who thinks Demi Moore looks like a bridesmaid and JLo (who I really love and can almost NEVER critisize) looks like she's wearing bubblewrap?

I am a Gleek - Lea Michelle

Those who know me know I am a total Gleek. I live for it. I can be having a crap week, but somehow Glee always makes me feel better. All the time. And the people involved in the casting? Props to you, could you have picked hotter people?

This is Rachel Berry. I love her, eventhough Kurt keeps saying that it's hard to even be in the same room as her. She is perky and never lets anything get to her, even the fact that drop-dead-gorgeous Finn is still totally commited to two-faced evil cheer-leader Quinn. And that voice?

And this is Lea Michelle. She is the amazing starlet behind Rachel Berry. Don't know if she is as adorable as Rachel, but I'll give her this: her fashion sense is waaaay better. A few strolls down the red carpet have put her on my watch-list.

Spring/Summer 2010 - What's Hot?

Dear Fashionistas
Spring and Summer are approaching fast, though the cold weather seems reluctant to leave... Ladies, prepare to see the best of all the runways: Yours Truly has looked at and analized every single show in search for the Hottest Trends for the coming seasons. White is popular with every designer: whether in its lace, assimetrical or knit version, it seemed to present in every single fashion capital. I bring you the best dresses for work and flirt. But don't think every other shade was neglected: Colour is as popular as white, if not more: deep shades of orange and red, and every shade of teal and green were a happy departure from all the grey and black of the last season.
If hot pink is not for you, though, this season also witnesses a return to beiges, browns and khakhis, although now with a more desert-y feel. You will be ready for a ride in the African savannah with these hot outfits... and what better way not to blend in with everything around you than wearing the stunning prints our fab designers chose for you? Whether you prefer ethnic, geometrical, animal, mexican, british or flowery, there's something here for you.
Accessories are, as usual, the perfect finishing touch for every outfit, what gets them from "ok" to "OMG, I love that!". Use thick belts at your waist and instantly get mile-long legs; wear the right sunglasses and became the mysterious girl everyone wants to meet; forget thing necklaces and bracelets and make a statement with over-sized jewellry; choose timeless clutches and bags that you will be wearing for years...
And don't forget the most important rule: Know yourself and feel good about what you're wearing - not all of us can wear bright yellow dresses... I know I can't!

Alexander McQueen - The End of an Era

I return after a few months away with something that has left the fashion community and the world in general grieving: Alex McQueen, the visionary genious behind some of the most exciting fashion moments of the last decades, took his own life on 11th February 2010. These are some of my favourite designs and the way they looked going down the red carpet or walking down the street.
